Four Chord Music Festival in Pittsburgh PA recently celebrated their 12th year! Four Chord is a two-day festival in the heart of Pittsburgh that hosts a range of alternative, pop-punk, and hardcore bands. The festival grounds were located at FNB Stadium which was both comfortable and convenient for festival-goers. One of the best things about this festival is the alternating 2-stage set-up which eliminates overlapping sets, difficult decisions, and long walks between stages. Both days of the festival, the stadium was filled with eager fans and an endless stream of crowdsurfers. Friday night headliners Knocked Loose put on an outstanding performance as expected. Saturday night headliners Pierce the Veil drew an enormous and energetic crowd. Other notable performances I personally enjoyed included: Motion City Soundtrack, Finch, Bayside, Boys Like Girls, Underoath, Mayday Parade and State Champs (just to name a few).
