Train took center stage at the iconic Shoreline Amphitheatre, delivering an unforgettable performance supported by Matt Nathanson and Barenaked Ladies.
From the moment the lights dimmed and the enthusiastic crowd erupted with cheers, it was clear that this was a homecoming like no other. As a “Train” banner gracefully descended, the excitement reached a fever pitch. The band kicked off their electrifying set with “She’s on Fire, “50 Ways to Say Goodbye,” and “If It’s Love,” immediately captivating the audience.
During the concert, Train brought out Matt, who was dressed in a hot dog suit, to perform the cover songs “Jack & Diane” and “Mad Dog in the Fog.” Additionally, Ed Robertson from Barenaked Ladies took the stage for “Meet Virginia” and “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” Pat Monahan, the lead vocalist of Train, also brought out his 14-year-old son to perform the song “Stone in Love.” He sang the song alongside his son, who played the guitar.
Fans were treated to a memorable lineup, featuring crowd favorites like “Drive By,” “Hey Soul Sister” and “Drops of Jupiter,” which had the fans all singing along and standing up.
