Bleachers, the American rock band from New Jersey, have returned to San Francisco following their last performance in 2025 at Outside Lands. They performed at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley with The Linda Lindas, an American punk band from Los Angeles, who absolutely rocked the stage before Bleachers came out.
Bleachers came out one by one as the crowd cheered. When Jack Antonoff stepped on stage last, the lights shone bright, and the first beat of “Sideways” dropped. Throughout the set, Jack engaged the crowd by running back and forth across the stage. The band used multiple instruments, including keyboards, saxophones, guitars, drums, harmonicas, and tambourines.
During the second half of the setlist, Jack performed “I Wanna Be Better” exactly as it was written, and the audience became more engaged and immersed in the performance; you could feel the emotions throughout the entire theater. He played it again after one of their biggest hits, “Rollercoaster.” The atmosphere during this song was very nostalgic, as Jack encouraged the fans to lift each other onto their shoulders, and they gladly complied. This created a free and fun environment that lasted throughout the entire concert, ending with “Stop Making This Hurt.”
